I am an independent researcher, advisor, writer and lecturer on sustainable development and environmental issues, an associate of the think-tank Green Alliance, and a visiting professor (sustainable development) at the Centre for Environmental Strategy, University of Surrey (2002-05 and 2008-11). My current research interests include sustainable development and values, environmentalism and the major religions, policies to support community-level action on environmental policy, and the capacity of NGOs to stimulate personal and community action on climate change. I’m based in London, UK.
