Renée Lertzman

I am a PhD researcher at Cardiff University and a Fellow with the Biodiversity Project, an environmental communications organisation in Chicago. My work concerns the topic of apathy and what facilitates pro-active responses to chronic ecological issues, and my Ph.D., “The Myth of Apathy” is based on a case study of Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am also a journalist and an environmental communications consultant, and will begin a post-doctoral fellowship at Portland State University with the Centre for Sustainable Processes and Practices in January 2010
